Centre of control

For those bloggers who need the interaction of readers to stay motivated, or give their blogging purpose... the Centre Of Control moves away from the blogger, to the reader.

Although the blogger is doing all the work (by providing information, or entertainment) the balance of power lies with the readers through their withholding of comments, or their failure to visit. Unless others interact with his thoughts (posts) his weblog has no meaning, for him. He is taunted by the sorry spectacle of his dreary thoughts/ideas festering in his weblog. They are sterile until they are fertilised with the comments (and visits) of other people. His Public.
