Photoblogging?
[see: BBC photoblogging gallery]
I stumbled across this today. I'm not sure, yet, what I want to say about photoblogging. I am going to leave this post as a placeholder. I'll return to it when I know what I want to say about it. There are a whole suite of things which feed into the images-in-blogs topic:
- the ubiquitous Flickr and the its Blog button
- Blogger.com's Photoblogging
- the comment by John Dale about the use of images by students in Warwick Blogs': students had to manually, and laboriously, upload one image at a time. And yet, at the time of the interview (April 05?), they had uploaded 30,000 images. This surprised him, that despite the obstacles they wanted the facility. I've just checked and right now they have uploaded 52,000. I don't know if Warwick is still using same slow system for uploading files.
- there are dozens of communities like this of blogging artists (check out the blogroll)
